Best Ever
I am an avid home chef and a fervent hater of nonstick cookware. I went through so many sets of nonstick in my early married years, everything from the $30 "whole kitchen in a box" set I got as wedding gift to a "top of the line" set that my mother-in-law gave me years later. I babied the stuff, but it still wound up scratched and peeling and in the trash. And, I never liked the cooking performance of any of it. So, many years ago I threw it all out and bought an 18/10 stainless set- which I love and praise to anyone who will listen, and have never had to replace a single piece of. BUT, even I will admit that it's tough to get a decent fried egg from a stainless pan, so I kept an 8" nonstick skillet around just for that purpose. It was needing to be replaced so I decided to go with hard anodized. Hesitantly, I was going to get another brand with the teflon type finish. Fantastic Cookware!!
My wife recently began researching possible harmful items in our home, and asked me to get cookware without Teflon. Having grown up with non-stick pans, and having had a bad encounter with stainless steel, I was expecting this change to be a nightmare. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised.I researched healthy alternatives to non-stick and came up with ionized aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron and ceramic coated cast iron. None of these seemed like a great choice. I then went to Bed Bath and Beyond to look at pans and discovered the Cuisinart Green line. After seeing the cast iron, I realized we probably would somehow damage our new glasstop stove as it was so heavy, so ceramic coated aluminum sounded great.I settled on either Calphalon One infused ionized aluminum or the Cuisinart line. However, Bed Bath and Beyond is a bit confusing with the Cuisinart line. They sell Cuisinart "Greenware" as a set and Green "Gourmet" as individual pieces. The Green...

Great Cookware!
The Cuisinart Green Gourmet Eco-Friendly cookware is great! Heats evenly, does not need heavy oils, butter, or sprays to cook in (once seasoned). Cleans very easily also with little effort. I would have given these products a 5 star rating, but 2 of the pans I bought from Bed, Bath and Beyond had to be return/replaced because they had some strange shading in the coating. I was unsure if that would affect the life or use of the product and returned for replacement. I have had no problems with any other of these pans that I have bought elsewhere, it may have just been the batch sent to that store, so I can definitely say I recommend this cookware. One note, if you are a "put everything in your dishwasher" kind of person, you will not like how these look or wear if you do that. I use to be that way and have now gotten use to hand washing these wonderful pans and my new set of knives to extend their life and use. Go green!

Grill Pan Review
Since my old outdoor grill was recently retired, & this is not the time of the year to purchase a new one, I decided to buy this pan instead. I have to say that it does as good a job at grilling meat as my gas barbeque did. It grills vegetables & fish perfectly. Overall, I am very pleased with this item & would highly recommend it.

Nothing Sticks!
I've had this grill pan for about one month. It is light weight making it easy to handle and absolutely nothing sticks. I used it for steak, porkchops, grilled cheese sandwich, and even eggs. I have other types of non-stick pans but none hold a candle to this non-stick. If it will wear well, you have a real winner. I do wish you offered a smaller version such as 8" or 9" square grill pan. I would definatelybuy a pan of that size for cooking for one or two people.Absolutely 5 STARS.awaynet

Green Gourmet grill pan
The pan is really non stick and is easy to clean. The way the handle is constructed it does not get as hot as other handles. Delighted to have it since we got rid of our outdoor grill! May try the other pans in the same series.
