Released in 1980, "Back In Black" featured new lead singer Brian Johnson who replaced former singer Bonn Scott who died months earlier. With the death of Scott, there were sceptics that thought this was the end of the hard rocking Aussy band. But to their surprise "Back In Black" was a huge success with absolutely no filler tracks. The album produced a number of hits with the title "Back In Black", "Hells Bells" and "You Shook Me All Night Long". In my opinion some of the best songs on the album were not hits such as "Shoot To Thrill", "What Do You Do For Money Honey" and "Shake A Leg". With the addition of Johnson to the line up the band seemed to be stronger than ever, and Angus Young's guitar licks are absolutely amazing. At this point, I really don't need to tell you the story behind "Back in Black." You already know that it's the first AC/DC album since founding member Bon Scott's death and the first featuring replacing singer Brian Johnson. You already know that it's one of the biggest-selling albums around the world. And you already know that it's the Aussie-based group's best album to date. What you may NOT know is that the repackaged and remastered edition is a must-have, even if you already own prior versions on LP, cassette, or CD. Optical to Analog Converter
I had purchased a new flat screen high defintion TV, but found it only had an optical audio output. My older sound system was not compatible with this format as it only had RCA analog inputs. At first, I thought I would have to purchase a new sound system to go along with my new TV, but this converter saved me from that expense. I plugged the optical audio cord into this converter, and plugged the analog cables from my old amplifier into the other end, and viola... I now have excellent sound to go along with my new TV. The converter works as advertised.

Fantastic alternative to theater system!
I had Bose speakers and the amplifier. But I did not have a theater system to plug it into. My new tv only had digital audio coax output. I plugged this device in, and I am using my external speakers again to watch movies.

I just opened the package and haven't used this thing yet - so I can't comment on functionality - but I wanted to let others know that this unit DOES come with a cigarette lighter plug (as well as a set of alligator clips) that you can attach to the screw posts. I wasted a couple bucks on a separate cigarette lighter plug when I ordered because the product information says nothing about coming with the cigarette lighter plug. Oh - There is also a sticker on the cigarette lighter cable warning not to draw more than 150 watts when using it plugged into a lighter socket (use the alligator clips or your own custom wires to connect straight to the battery for full power)

Does it's job with no complaints.
I has been on ever since I put it in my semi. I have a laptop, a printer, and four chargers for cordless devices hooked to it on a power strip. The fan will come on if I'm watching a movie on the laptop but that is the only time I have ever heard the fan come on. It is exposed to temps from below 0 to 80+ and hasn't complained yet.

Great Power Inverter!
The power inverter works great. I used it on a 5000 mile road trip powering a PS3 and iPhone and another cell phone along the way, in addition to other small electronics. To get the most power out of the unit, you need to hard wire it directly to the battery. I mounted it under the passenger seat and ran some 8 gauge wire. Very easy installation. I looked at several inverters before purchasing this one. The usb connection was what sold me on the unit. I now have an easy way to charge my iPhone without having to buy a car charger or taking up one of the regular power outlet slots. Well worth the money. The only thing to note for Amazon is that the product listing advertises that it comes with a carry case. It does not. No problem for me because I don't really care, but it may matter to you. I believe the CPI 475 does include the case.

Perfect for your car!
I bought this to use in my car and it works great with my iPhone 4S! I was debating getting this or the belkin unit and im really glad i got this unit instead because of the usb power cable, its portability with the rechargeable battery and how tiny it is. Sound quality is great too! I have a bluetooth phone system built into my car (with no a2dp obviously) and i can pair my phone to both devices and still make/receive calls while streaming music (but i think this has more to do with the device your streaming from.)
