excellent floss at a wonderful price
I bought this quite some time ago but haven't gotten around to the review until now. There is so much of this floss that I think I will never have to purchase anymore during my lifetime! However, I don't embroider massive projects either so, for the person who does, it looks like it would still last a long time. I've looked around and this price seems to be very competitive as well. I don't consider it to be a "toy" as the review indicates but, I guess girls would use it for making those bracelets and other items associated with the younger set. I use this for hand embroidering names and cartoon-style items on felt and other fabrics. I really recommend this due to the price, quality and shipping speed.

the floss itself is good but incompatible and not standard
All embrioderies are provided with tipical color numbers, that you should buy to finish the work. The "gold standard" is DMS color numbers. You can easily find converters in the internrt from "DMS number" to "Anchor number" or to some other tipes of floss but I have found nothing in the internet, that can help me to convert colors, provided in embriodery instructions to this Iris floss colors. Believe me, i tried a lot! I found many discussions of people, facing the same problem, but no solution. So in fact, I can not use it now in most cases. I have just ordered some DMS colors finaly.Maybe it is just new on market and converters will appear later saomewhere, but as for now - it is very hard to make use of it, meaning.. to match colors you need.The floss quality is good. and it is rather cheap.

Just what I needed
I'm working on a fiber-arts craft project and I needed a variety of colors. This package was perfect for me. There are 2-3 skeins of each color in a variety of hues. I was worried that there might not be any white or black because I could not see them in the picture, but they were in the package. If you need a lot of different colors for a craft project this package is perfect.

As expected, given the price
I bought this embroidery floss to make bracelets and other woven items. It was the cheapest package I could find on Amazon, so I didn't have enormous expectations. It looks and functions as any other embroidery floss. There is a nice color selection and it came as described. My only complaint is that the colors fade after a few washes, so don't buy this if you intend to make high-quality products.

Not DMC floss
Could work fine for kid's projects, but not for serious cross stitch. The floss is made in China while my DMC floss is made in France. The Prism floss has no sheen and and any project would have a flat, dull finish. I think it would be fine for children's friendship bracelets and such. The colors are basic.
