Works when used properly
I own one of these, and If used as directed (which is actually very easy), Epicare effectively removes unwanted hair from upper lip, cheeks, and chin. It is obvious that hair removal from root is the most effective, but associated with sensitivity, no matter what method is used. I also like that the greatest benefit of Epicare is that it does not damage your skin like all other traditional hair-removal methods. And it is definitely less painful than waxing. It gently pulls out facial hair from root and keeps your skin safe. I've tried many facial hair removal methods, but so far this is the most effective one and I'm sticking to it!

nice invention
i have been threading all my life but this product is amazing. It basically uses the same idea as that of threading but does it in a very convenient way. I am simply in love with it. I am using acne medication so i cant wax (my skin has become very sensitive and comes off with wax) I wont say it is painless but it is definitely better than other hair removing options.You must experience this...its worth your money.

I'VE TESTED IT EVERYWHERE~! Wish come true for this hairy faced Latin/Hispanic gal!
It took a lot of guts to buy this after reading some of the one and two star writer reviews. However, after years of suffering from wax burns and irritated skin from every other form of removal...and because I could never hope to get the job done with teezers...I was willing to give it a try especially after seeing it in Oprah's favorite finds list.I almost rated it 4 stars because it is tricky to figure out how to use it but felt it deserved a 5 because it gets the job done.The second I found the REM in my mailbox, I ripped it out of the package (it was 11PM when I got my mail) and proceeded to experiment for the next hour and a half.Since then, I've ravaged my entire face, removing all of my man hair and some! I had spots above my eyebrows, on my cheeks, jaw line, unibrow, chin, under my ears--alllllll over the place! Beauty is pain, but the price is nice!
You know what? This little tool really, really works. I wish they'd take the word 'painless' out of their advertising though, because it certainly isn't. As anyone who's tweezed or waxed knows, ripping a bunch of tiny hairs out by their roots at once is anything but 'painless.'If you're like me, prior to this tool, you had one of three options for hair removal. 1) Use that awful Nair for Face stuff that takes off a layer of your skin along with the hair, and walk around for three days with a red goatee and irritated skin. 2) Face the pain of waxing it off and still walk around with a red mustache and irritated skin afterwards. 3) Tweeze each and every little hair, one by one, consuming a day and a half if you want to get everything. I ordered this because I read about it in Oprah's O Magazine and they loved it. When I received it, I read the directions and even went to the REM website and watched a video of how to use it, but I couldn't get it to work for me. I almost gave up and thought about tossing it, but then I decided to experiment since there were other people who liked it.Here's what worked:1.) You don't necessarily have to bend the spring into a tight U shape as shown in the pictures (you can also use it bent just a little into a wide rounded U shape).2.) Lay the spring against your skin just below where you want to remove the hair.3.) As you slowly move the spring upward, twirl the right hand fingers clockwise and the left hand fingers counter-clockwise. If you twirl them the opposite way, no hairs get grabbed (this was the main thing I needed to figure out and the instructions didn't explain it).4.) Works as well as the R.E.M. and costs less
I own an Epicare and R.E.M. and thought I'd try this one because it is so much cheaper in price. It works great! It's a bit shorter than the R.E.M. and because of that it handles better for me. I love this product. I use it in the restrooms in between my classes when I am short of time. I have sensitive skin, but the reddness disappears after about 5 minutes. It does hurt at first, but then it is so much better than tweezing one hair at a time, or spending the time messing with waxing.

Cheap Complete Hair Removal
Pros:It arrived fast and as described.The black velvet cloth case was included so I'm not sure why some have commented it didn't come with.This product is super affordable and works just as good as the pricier competitors.I found it super easy to use. If uncertain there are videos online you can search.Safe to use as often as you want.Removes hair at the root so hair takes longer to grow back.Cons:Ouch factor:-I'm used to the way threading feels and this was still pretty painful the first couple of times. That is probably because it is so thorough.You cannot use it on eyebrows.-This product is made to take out large sections of hair not small areas so you cannot do the detailing required for brows.Can be time consuming-I thread my whole face and the first time it took me about 40 min to get as hair free as I wanted. I got this because I an sick of plucking. The first day I tried using it and it took 30min to get the hang of it. Now im hooked! I sit and watch TV while doing it lol. But, I will say some areas do not hurt, other areas hurt like HELL!Like the upper lip under your nose.

Really Works!
I received the Bellabe 3 weeks ago. It was easy to use and very effective in removing the facial hairs on the upper lip and chin area. I had to work harder to remove the hairs on the lower chin area. Mainly because they were not as visible and it is tougher (for me at least) to thighten the skin in this area. So far I am very pleased, the hair was pulled from the roots and has not returned. There is a stinging sensation, but more gentler than wax removal. And I don't have the rough fuzzy hairs, (or shadow), that is left by shaving. I only wish I had known of the product years ago. I have what I fear is permanant skin discoloration on my upper lip and chin area from years of using hair removal creams.For those wanting additional information on the product, there are several "great" videos available on youtube. I viewed several before deciding to purchase the item.

Use sparingly on sensitve skin, a great tool to have, a must for sensitive skin hair removal
Bellabe does irritate my sensitive skin, but alot less irritation than waxing or epilating, so I try to use it sparingly. I use it when I'm tweezing and it's faster & more effective than waxing because if it misses a few hairs I roll it over the area again. I don't wax anymore but kept the wax for nose hairs, because it is excellent for that and not slow torture like plucking them. Bellabe is not fun to use and does feel like I'm pulling the little hairs out of my face. It seems gentler than waxing, definitely less messy and time consuming. It's exactly like tweezing only getting many more hairs in one rolling pull. Bellabe can cause a breakout, but it doesn't if I use restraint, use it only where it's most needed, 1 or 2 rolls over, and not get overeager and pull out every bit of hair I can find. There is cleaning instructions for the Bellabe. I clean mine before I use it and use a toning acne product on my skin after. It's a great tool to have and I would recommend getting one,...

Bellabe works great!! A must-have!!
I own a Bellabe and I like that it pulls out my facial hair easily and quickly. I thought it was more effective than the Epicare. The Epicare cause me to break out sometimes. But so far, with the Bellabe I have not had a breakout on my skin. It removes all hair and leaves my skin smooth & silky. I definitely recommend Bellabe! 5 stars!
