Just a tip
I've noticed a lot of people here were having a hard time finding the right adapter for their specific keyboards, and I've got a solution. You don't actually need to buy a Casio brand adapter to fit your Casio keyboard (matching model numbers can be tricky online). Here's a fool- proof method for finding the right adapter every time; On the back or underside of your keyboard, there should be a voltage rating (which looks like a number followed by 'V'. For example, '9V' or '8V') and a milliamp rating (which looks like a larger number followed by 'mA'. For example, '850mA' or '900mA'). With those two numbers, you can find the exact adapter you need. :) For example, my keyboard is rated '9V 850mA', which looks like a bunch of gobbldeygook until you type it into a search engine or show it to a salesperson at any electronics or toy store. Almost all adapters are rated this way and regardless of the manufacturer (i.e. Casio, Yamaha), you'll always get the exact...

Works but not what I was expecting and paid too much
I have a very old Casio "Bank Tone" CT-636 portable keyboard. The AC adatpor was lost and I've been using size D batteries for my son to play the keyboard and that was getting expensive. Finally searched online to find a replacement AC adatpor. According to the spec at the back of my CT-636, it says "DC 9V, 4.5W, uses AC Adaptor AD-5". 9V 4.5W translates to 500mA. I found two such AC adaptor links on Amazon. One says AC Adatpor AD-5. Another says AC Adatpro AD-5MR (9V, 850mA). Since I didn't want to deviate from the spec and the product description for the AD-5 on Amazon included my model (CT-638/CT-636) while the AD-5MR didn't, so I ordered the AD-5 (~$19+shipping) even though it was almost $10 more expensive than the AD-5MR (~$11). The delivery was super fast. I got the AC adatpor 2 days later. HOWEVER, this AC adaptor shipped is actually the AD-5MR (9V, 850mA)!! I plugged it into my CT-636, yes, it works, but had I known they are going to ship me the AD-5MR...
