it gives your local stations with GPS and if your phone has no GPS t you just enter tour zip code. I really use this app a lot even before I leave the house. The app is great gave it a 5 . oh and if you find sign up you can win a gas card for updating prices !

Wonderful app...especially as gas prices climb...
Where I live, there can be great variation in prices even among stations within a short distance of each other. GasBuddy has served me well in telling me the current prices, and there's no doubt I have accrued savings over the year I've been using it.Crowd-sourced pricing data, sortable by location ("near me" or enter zip/placename) or price.Tabbed selectors for the grade you need (and diesel); your default selection is a persistent default.One of my must-have Android apps.

Great app! saves money!
I love my GasBuddy app! I can find the lowest gas price in town without driving all over the place. There are features that allow you to report prices and stuff but honestly I just load it up hit the GPS button and find the lowest price. Now we just need an App that works the same way for beer prices! BeerBuddy!

A Good Navigational Tool
With an occupation that keeps me on the road, a working navigational tool is a must have. Having gone through my fair share of slow and inconsistent GPS products ranging from Garmin, TomTom and yes even Magellan through the years, one must really do their homework. After researching several systems this model kept popping up on my radar screen.Coming out of the box, this unit worked perfectly without the usual hiccups of other systems that I have owned. Installation is simple. Downloading updates via the included USB cable was quick and without issues. Powering up is a breeze. Total time for entering starting point to destination is about 45 seconds. The One Touch screen is on the money. The menu allows for editing for one's own personal choices. I really have come to like the Predictive Traffic feature. Decent bang for buck
I have had this unit just over 2 weeks now, got it the first day it was released. I replaced my old Magellan 1412. Over all, I have been pleased with the functionality for price ratio.It worked right out of the box, finding the satellite signal within a minute. I immediately liked the large screen yet a reasonably thin design. I took it to the car, and found mounting it to the windshield was a snap. So far so good.I used immediately used it on a trip to go from Washington DC to Winston-Salem NC. It worked perfectly in terms of directions heading both up and back. Here are the things I really liked:- The lane directions were very helpful when navigating highway interchanges. The lane directions popped up well in advance to find the right lane- The spelling fill in function is also helpful.- I really liked the "closest gas" button on the map screen when you are driving. I used this to locate gas (and restrooms) and it worked flawlessly...

Skeptic Gives High Rating to this phone
I am picky and skeptical, and don't usually give reviews. Especially with so many phones out there, while they may be good, there's always something.I've had this Xperia PLAY for a couple of months now, and it's awesome. I had read the screen was too dark when gaming, but it's not true. So far, no freezes or delays and everything is really easy to find. If there was one thing that could be improved would be the weight: Having the gaming pad adds extra weight, but it's not a huge burden.This is a great entertainment piece(Gaming/Videos/internet), with solid construction, and has all the advantages of a great tool if you are a walking office: Integrates calendar with google, gmail, and can do Word, Excel, PDF, office mail, webmail, flash, Etc). Sweet deal. And best of all It Works Great!

The Xperia PLAY 4G runs the Android 2.3 operating system (dubbed "Gingerbread")--the fastest version of Android available for smartphones yet. It features a cleaner, more refined interface with new icons, improved top notification bar, and more intuitive navigation. Multitasking in Gingerbread allows you the ability to run more than one app at a time. If you're playing a game, you can easily switch to an incoming email and then switch back to the game without losing your place.

AT&T 4G Network

This phone runs on AT&T's dual-band 850/1900 MHz 4G network (UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+), and with HSPA+ you'll experience mobile data speeds up to 4x faster than ordinary mobile broadband--up to approximately 6 Mbps (download). At&t sucks with android update
Hi, the cellphone its ok for the price, the only thing that piss me off is the android update, it comes with android 2.3.3 and like 1 year ago sony release the android 2.3.4 update for their phones, at&t only say that they are testing the update, the worst thing is that 3 weeks ago google release andorid ICS(4.0) and sony sayd that in march they will release the update for all 2011 phones, so i think that at&t will do tha same that is doing with 2.3.4 and this phone will have ICS problably in 2013 so buy another phone with ICS on it or buy the verizon play that already have the update.
