Perfect 'free' food to stop carb cravings!
I use these for several reasons. They are great if your 'throughput' is a little sluggish, they will help you up your water intake (because they are VERY dry), and they stop carb cravings because they fill your stomach. I spread a little sugar free jelly or Walden Farms sugar free chocolate sauce on them to help ease the dryness. Don't get me wrong, you need to like the taste of bran. They are sort of like all-bran got stomped by an elephant and made into a wafer. I eat them to stop my pacing the kitchen late at night or to cure the same thing around 3:30 in the afternoon, which allows me to stay on my eating program.

Finally
I have been on low carb for years and have never really found a replacement cracker. The fakes are too eggy..or taste terrible. I love these. Now granted they really need something on top. But so what. Most crackers do. They are great with a slice of cheese..I have made them into little pizza's..wonderful. Will definitely buy again

Dry, but Surprisingly Palatable
I have been a fan of GG Scandinavian Bran Crispbread for years. Most people get too little fiber. Fiber is essential for flushing toxins and other junk out of your system. Fiber helps lower cholesterol and reduces the impact of high glycemic index foods. While some people choose to take supplements like psyllium, I prefer actually eating food...or the next closest thing.The crispbreads have a somewhat cardboard taste, but mainly tasted like toasted grains, with maybe a hint of cinnamon (but i'm probably imaginging that). They are not sweet or salty or anything else appetizing. However, they work great as a vehicle for just about anything. My wife and I enjoy making little peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with them for a filling snack. If I just want to get some extra fiber, I'll eat a crisp or two with some cheese or honey. Bran Fiber Crackers are effective and not too bad.......
Each pack has 10 3"x3" (approx.) squares. If you try to eat these dry, you will most likely gag. But, try it with anything moist (mayo, mustard, PB, etc) and savory, and it's pretty good. My favorite is light mayo on two squares, extra thin cold cut and sprouts as a sandwich. Just that and a big glass of water, and you'll feel full. They keep their crispiness very well, and they don't fall apart when you bite into them. They're very effective in terms of keeping me regular and work pretty fast in that way! I ordered from Amazon the 15-pack carton, and they came within the week in perfect condition -- not a single one appears to be broken.

Freshness of GG Bran Crispbread
I thought these packages of GG Bran Crispbread were not as fresh as I've had in the past.I ordered out of Toronto the last couple of times but wanted to order from within the USAand did so this time but feel a little disappointed. I'm eating them but find I need to let thetopping soak into them to soften them a little more but they are still tasty, don't thinkI feel they are not eatable, because they are. They just seem to be a little hard.

Great way to control appetite
I first got these after reading about them in The Thin Commandments Diet. They were recommended as a way of controlling appetite. I have to say that they are an acquired taste. My pet name for them is "baked hay". But, I eat them because they help fill me up, give me fiber, and have only a few calories in each one.As long as I don't eat them "straight", they are good. Many mornings, I eat them with a little bit of spray butter, cinnamon and Splenda. Other times, I dip them in the soup I'm eating. Yet other times, I melt cheese on them. They help fill me up and satisfy my appetite.

These are so good!
These little crackers are great! Very rarely does something with few calories taste really good, but I would prefer these over saltine crackers any day! You can do so much with them, or you can just eat them plain. The company also ships very quickly!

Excellent cracker/bread
While I don't enjoy eating this crispbread alone- it is too dry, I am addicted to using it instead of bread. I put tuna, eggs, fruit, cheese, you name it on these and it turns into a meal. Very yummy.

Crisp without Carbs
I enjoy these little crackers. My favorite is topping them with light cream cheese, salmon and capers. The fiber is great. May take a little getting used to for some but I think the value of the fiber makes it worth it. Just be sure to follow with a full glass of liquid.

Weight Watchers dream
When my daughter and I started weight program we found these crackers in our local store and feel in love with them. We make tuna or chicken salad with low or fat free mayo and eat it for lunch. We use very little of our points and are very full. The taste is great and we love the cripyness that replaces the need for chips.
