GSG5 Scope Mount
I purchased this item about a month ago and mounted it on my GSG5. With the allen screw heads to the left side of the gun, the mount fits perfectly and only took a few minutes to install. After researching the available manufacturers and reading various reviews, I opted for this item listed on Amazon. Don't be discouraged by the fact that the tailpiece that attaches to the rear of the gun is plastic. It seems to be well made (so far), and the important arms of the stock are made from aluminum, with the plastic butt piece molded to them. The stock and gun colors match perfectly.I cannot verify who the manufacture of this item is since it was shipped in an envelope with no packaging, but appears to be the OEM's model. It fits and works as expected. One trip to the range and over 300 rounds through the gun, with no problems.I ordered the stock on Thursday, and I received it on Monday. single point sling
The clasp on the sling is pretty cheap. It seperated the first time that I used it. I put a black wire tie around it to keep both side together and it works ok but you can't move it from gun to gun with out having a pocket full of wire ties to use each time you move it. The Product is as good as it's gonna get for the price...I've read some of the other reviews and frankly I'm disappointed in the reviews rather than the product...it's ok for the money...I don't recommend it for any real fire arms rather more for airsoft or something similar. The sights are not exact, in fact not very accurate from a distance, up close no problem. My only concern is the brightness since the reticle fades out in daylight (and I'm talking in overcast conditions), there are other brands that are far better but you will pay through the nose for them. Thus, for the budget airsofter it's more for looks. Top to learn more
