This is the best surf rack you can get
Hands down - the best. Speed? This rack has got it. The "crane" system lifts up the straps, so no more running around to the other side of your car to loop your straps around the bars. Seriously. Surfers. Think about that for a minute. This rack gets you more water time! It must have been designed by someone who KNOWS. The only downside is that if your roof isn't too wide, you won't be able to do boards side-by-side and pile on 4+ boards. I've put 3 longboards on, though and it handled it fine.Buy it!

to fit round bars needs adapter
Just got the INNo INA744 board locker. Looks well built I will update my review after i have used it. Wanted to let buyers know that to fit round bars you need to purchase adapter ISF715 sold separately. This is not clear in the description, and conveniently amazon doesn't carry it. also the nuts in the universal mounts are a nylon, I have had the Thule ones break on me, but not big deal can be replaced easily and cheaply. the inside width is 24 inches so if you are carring a large SUP board it might not fit you would need a pad or get the canoe Kayak carrier.

Functions great but whistles while driving
I've had it on my car for 3 days and I had a board in it one day. Although I can see where a determined thief could get to it if they had the right tools or wanted it bad enough, it would deter your average delinquent looking for a free board. It functions properly and as expected. Pretty easy to install and use as well. What I didn't expect was the whistling. You can start to hear the rack whistle around 20 MPH if you're listening for it, and it really gets going around 35-40 MPH (and higher). I thought I knew what was causing the whistling, but I was wrong. I suspected that the silver decorative sleeves over the top wire brackets were the culprit. I cut the sleeves off last night & drove to work this morning with the whistling just the same as it's been the last few days. When I had the board it in, it whistled too, so I'm now guessing that the whistling is coming from the gap between the top of my factory racks and the bottom of this locking board rack.For...
