This stuff really works!
My wife has a stiff and painful neck and back many mornings when she wakes up. She was taking pain pills prescribed by her doctor(800mg Ibuprofen). She doesn't like taking medications if she can avoid it, so we bought some of this Liniment. It really works! I rub it on her after she showers. It seems to work better after a hot shower. It does work without the shower but not quite as well. I highly recommend it.

It works!
After starting a running program I developed pes anserine bursitis in my knee (ouch). I tried a cortisone shot to no avail. I saw this and decided to try it. It really worked miracles for me. It can feel like it is burning your skin - especially if you apply it before bedtime. For that reason, I apply it at least 4 to 5 hours before I go to bed. It is a much better choice that cortisone. Hope it works for you as it did for me!

Real pain reliever without a very strong odor.
I really like the way they had a little hole in top of the bottle for pouring purposed. This is the only thing that took the pain out of my knees and legs.

Great dry skin remedy
When I was younger, I got large cracks in my feet from walking barefoot constantly during the summer. We had a dilapidated old tin of Watkins Petro Carbo Salve from long previous to me. My great-grandfather was a Watkins salesman, and as such we nicknamed the product "Grandpa's Salve". To this day, I've found nothing better. I've tried expensive products, cheap products, of which one has come distantly close (does that even make sense?) - a wax/oil concoction called Badger. Still, no cigar. I was surprised to find "Grandpa's Salve" still produced, and since I consider it rare, I ordered two tins - enough to last for years.

cracked dry feet
I've had problems with my feet for over two years. I often showed my condition to a neighbor of mine whos occupation is a nurse. She also was looking for something to soften her heels. She bought a container of Petro-Carbo Salve and shared half the container with me. After buying prescription medicines worth $100.00 a tube I became frustrated and nothing was working. I had cracks on my heels, under my toes, on the sides of my feet and on the soft pads. It was impossible to walk my dog or wear dress shoes. I lived in hiker boots for two years. Looks great with a suit. I started using Petro-Carbo Salve both morning and night and with in a week felt the the moisture returning to my feet. In order to keep the cracks together I was using bandaids when I discovered duck tape that's when the healing started. Great overnight healing
I have been using this salve for years. When the skin on my fingers splits from dryness, or when I have a small cut, I use a little at bedtime and 95% of the time, by morning, the nuisance is gone! The other 5% of the time it is gone by the next day. It is also very good for dry skin or when working in the yard and your fingers get tore up. I even use it after laying cement to soothe the skin. There is nothing like it in the stores - I have tried!

First off, I was given to the packaging for a nice retro look but thats incidental ... easy to manage the amount to add with the supplied mini scoop ...does the job for the hand washables ..will most certainly purchase this product again before running out....very pleased and favor this product over the liquid variations anytime.

good everyday detergent, not great on stains
i bought this box on a whim to see if it performed as well as my usual high-efficiency detergent (the sears brand). it's great on your 'average' wash, the clothes are clean and it seems to rinse out easily with no residue or perfumes. i took one star off because this detergent doesn't work as well on my boys' mud- or grass- stained baseball uniforms. there's still a faint mud stain from this past weekend's game that only came out with a good soaking and oxyclean, but overall i'd still buy this detergent again.

Watkins Menthol Camphor
This product is similar to Vicks Vapo Rub but I feel Watkins Menthol Camphor works better and smells much better than the Vicks. My stuffy nose clears real fast and keeps me soothed through the night when I use this product while I am sick.I also rub this ointment on my hands in the winter time when they get dry, chapped, and they feel sore/burning sensation. I apply the menthol camphor and my hands feel so much better. It gives them a cool relief and the burning sensation instantly dissapears. It keeps my hands soft and dry all winter! I know this is not the products intended use but it works wonders for me in the winter time.

BEST
This is the ONLY thing I can use as a lip moisturizer and it doesn't make them worse. I also use this on the bottoms of my feet (I know, it sounds crazy) for deep coughs and tickles in the throat and it instantly keeps me from coughing for about 4 hours at a time and allows me to get sleep and rest. It is a pleasant smell but also smells medicated and so I won't use it (on my lips) if I'm going out or people think I'm sick. But I personally love the smell and would choose it over vicks, any day. I also use it under my nose for stuffiness and chapped nose due to blowing and it works wonders.

Good Stuff
I had never used Watkins ointment but had a friend who has raved about it for years. For dry and chapped lips I normally use Neosporin lip treatment or Carmex but lately neither item worked. Just recently my lips became so chapped and dry that they actually hurt and I had some serious dryness around my mouth. My friend suggested I get some Watkins. I went online to order it from Amazon but knew that would take at least 2 days since I was out of town. I found out this was sold at Cracker Barrel restaurants. I bought it and applied it before I went to bed and by morning I could tell the difference. My lips cleared up within 2 days. I also applied this ointment to a cut and it definitely soothes the soreness. I have 2 large tins for my home and office and a small tin for my purse. I am definitely a believer in this product.

Amazing little cream
I hate Bath & Body Works. I hate lotion that smells like fruit. I don't think people should smell like food. BUT I LOVE THIS BODY CREAM. I received a sample at a convention three years ago and absolutely fell in love. It's rather ridiculous, really.This body cream worked great on my heels, elbows, and overly dry hands. The scent was a sweet, creamy lemon that uplifts my mood without the headache most heavily scented lotions give me, and without making me think of food (green apple body lotion, anyone?). I have tried every other brand I know of - nobody makes a scent like this. And none of the lotions I've tried have given me such good results.I'm pretty much a Suave kind of girl - I like things cheap and simple. But this is a luxury item I thoroughly enjoy, and I recommend it to everyone. Smells AMAZING all day long
This is hand cream, so it is a pretty thick. But I can't help it, I love the smell and the texture so I use it all over my body. It smells so much like lemon cream that everyone comments on it. As an entire body cream, these tubes don't last all that long. There is a body lotion that is also very good...but something about this cream does it for me. Someone complained that the smell changed on them after a while. I haven't noticed that at all. In fact I find myself sniffing my forearm (not in some creepy Mary Katherine Gallagher kind of way) late in the day just because it still smells so good.The price on Amazon is better than Target.

Smells so good you want to eat it, works so well, you'll never want to be without it
I've been using this product for years, and I wouldn't be caught without it anymore. I LOVE the lemon fragrance, it doesn't sting on sore areas, melts into your skin quickly, and still is a real workhorse on dry skin, chapped lips, wrinkles, blisters, sunburn, etc.. I use it on my face too, and it doesn't make me breakout. I HIGHLY reccommend this product.
