Packs a big punch for a little impact!
Bought this specifically to adjust the manual jacks on my camper. I used to use my Ridgid drill to do this and it worked fine but went through batteries very quickly. I did a bunch of research and this was always high on everyones list. I decided to purchase from Amazon based on price. The impact arrived ahead of schedule and in as advertised condition. Has a few cool features like a fast charger and a power meter on the battery so you can look at battery voltage even if it's not plugged into the drill.First trip out, one of the guys traveling with us got a flat tire so we figured we would try using this for a quick change. None of us thought it would have enough juice to take the wheel lugs off. Much to our surprise it removed them all with ease turing a crappy situation into a 10 minute pit stop! Oh, and when we got to camp, it still had plenty of juice to level my camper! Worth every penny!

SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!
This has to be one of the great buys for my tool collection. This impact is so light and compact yet packs a big punch! I'm constantly having to use it to get into small places to remove 1/2" hardware (using a 3/4" socket). This thing shreds through them in no time. Everybody at work has put away their full size cordless impacts to use this. Buy it now you won't be disappointed.

Cordless power frees you from the hassle of extension cords, but a cordless tool is only as reliable as its battery--that's where Milwaukee's M18 XC High-Capacity LITHIUM-ION batteries come in. Engineered to deliver torque, speed, and extended runtime, these batteries make use of Milwaukee's trademarked Digital Power Management technology to ensure long battery life. Additionally, overload protection, a temperature management system, and individual cell voltage monitoring guard your battery and your tools during tough jobs.
A convenient power gauge on each battery displays remaining runtime, and a second battery is included with the kit, so you never have to worry about running out of power in the middle of a task. Plus the M18 LITHIUM-ION battery charger is designed to recharge batteries in one hour or less.
Since lithium-ion batteries are significantly smaller and lighter than 18-volt NiCad batteries, they play an integral role in keeping Milwaukee's M18 tools ergonomic and comfortable to use. For added versatility, M18 tools also work with even lighter M18 Compact LITHIUM-ION Batteries (not included).

Handy little tool with limitations
I purchased the 'tool only' version of this impact to compliment the M18 Hammer drill I recently purchased. I was debating between this unit and the larger, heavier and significantly more powerful 2663-22 version, offering 450 lbs.ft of torque. This unit was in the $100 range while the 2663-22 version is closer to $180. I really didn't like the size and/or weight of the large impact so I decided to try this model, knowing it might not be capable of removing wheel lugs. As it turns out, the claimed 2,200 lbs.in torque (183 lbs.ft) struggled to remove lugs on my car which were installed with a torque wrench at the recommended setting of 72 lbs.ft. No chance it would remove the lugs on my truck (130 lbs.ft) or trailer. That said, maybe I don't understand how impacts are rated or how to relate a tools stated torque vs. actual torque required. Or is it designed to 'impact' for 5-15 seconds before loosening the bolt? I can only relate it to what I'm familiar with on a pneumatic tool...
