Product Description
Bondable PTFE sheet is etched on one side. (Polytetrafluoroethylene) Sometimes known as Teflon, it has established itself as a tough, durable polymer, possessing a unique combination of electrical, chemical, mechanical and thermal properties unmatched by any other single substance. Maximum operating temperature -350 degrees to 500 degrees F . This material should not be heated to temperatures above 752 degrees F (400 degrees C). Thicknesses (0.015 inches, 0.030 inches and 0.060 inches) are available. Sheets are etched on one side to make them bondable to other materials with most general purpose epoxies. Our stock sizes are cut from rolls and the material may be slightly curved, but it can easily be flattened by applying pressure to the whole surface. Top to learn more

scuffed up?
The teflon sheet is as advertised, except that the description of scuff marks and slight curving of the sheet should probably be modified to include staple holes. Scuffs are not really a problem, and a couple hours in a press fixed the slight curve, but holes in the product - what am I supposed to do about that? Luckily I can cut the sheet to just fit with the holes right at the edge of the application, but anywhere else and I'd have to send it back. I'm hoping the epoxy I'm using to mount it will fill the holes from behind and prevent any leakage. Keep this in mind when ordering. Top to learn more

Measurement given by amazon slightly off
If you are looking for exactly 6 inches of PTFE (generic form of Teflon) this product is not for you. I bought 2 sheets of the .015" thick and both measured 5.75 inches. Overall this product is alright and will serve its purpose for my needs, but I thought I would let everyone know about the measurement difference. I took pictures of the front and back of this product to clarify my point. I read a review that the product comes dirty and scratched. This was NOT my experience the PTFE arrived in bubble wrap clean and unblemished. Top to learn more
Note that this is too thick to use as mouse feet (aka “skates”) but I pounded out a narrow piece with a hammer to half it’s original thickness (at which point it cracked), and that thickness worked OK on the mouse. I could swear it’s not as smooth as other teflon I’ve bought, but that’s probably just because it’s so dented and bent (no, I’m not mistaking the bondable side for the smooth side–that difference is quite obvious). You are getting 1 square foot (144 square inches) of THICK teflon. Other thicknesses are available, get what you need for your primary use. If you need cheap, thick teflon for something that’s going to be abused, I suppose this might be alright, but if you’re. The etched side of the telfon bonds well to metal using epoxy.
