Pentax Limiteds rocks!
There are lots of wide angle lenses to choose from market out there. But only Pentax can make an ultra wide angle in such a small, compact and well-made lens like DA 15. Great lens for traveling, because you can simply put the limited lens in your pocket! Image quality is good at this price level as well!

What a great lens?! I would not mind to sleep with one!
DA 15mm is unique in many regards. First, it has a built-in lens hood which is made of high quality metal and has a very tight fit. Second, the focus ring is silky smooth and well damped which reminds me of the K and M era Pentax manual focus lenses. Third, it uses 49mm filters. I have not seen any other lenses in this focal length that uses 49mm filter. Fourth, the resolution is high and its resistance to flare is remarkable. Finally, it is ultra compact and yet extremely solid in hand. These characteristics make it one of the best choices for travel and for shooters who would like to have a wide angle lens handy but do not use it frequently. The bottomline is that I would not mind to sleep with it.Any downside? f4 is a bit small. 14mm or 13mm would be better. Image quality can be improved at f4.

Product Description
When mounted on a PENTAX digital SLR camera body, this new lens offers a 23mm angle of view in the 35mm format, letting the photographer capture unique, eye-catching images with visual effects unique to ultra-wide-angle lenses, such as enhanced perspective and an emphasized depth of field. It can be effectively used to capture eye-catching images of such subjects as sweeping landscapes, magnificent architecture and confined interiors. The PENTAX Limited Lens series is designed for the ultimate in image reproduction, combining a series of mechanical and numerical evaluations with human assessment of test-shooting samples. True to this tradition, this new lens not only assures excellent image quality, but also produces sharp, clear images with outstanding contrast, even at the maximum aperture. This is because its optical design has been optimized for digital photography. In addition, its lens barrel, hood and cap are all made of a high-grade aluminum material and shaped for perfect proportions and striking beauty. This lens incorporates a hybrid aspherical (AL) lens and an extra-low-dispersion (ED) glass optical element to assure high-quality image reproduction with minimal aberrations, including lateral chromatic aberration. Compared to other ultra-wide-angle lenses, its image distortion is also compensated to a minimal level. Thanks to its newly developed optics, this lens is designed extremely compact and lightweight despite its ultra-wide-angle perspective. Since it has no dome-shaped protrusion at the front end, the photographer can mount commercial 49mm-diameter filters, including circular polarizing filters popular in landscape photography. Great wide angle, especially for landscapes
I've gone sort of nuts buying Pentax lenses for my k5 and kx. I have the 10-17 Fisheye, 15mm Limited, 21mm Limited, 35 mm Macro Limited, 40 mm Limited, 70 mm Limited, 200mm DA*, 50mm Takumar m42 and just bought the 50mm f1.2 SMCA. I take a lot of events/street, flowers and nature shots. The 15mm takes amazing outdoor landscape shots. There is a bit of edge distortion and lack of sharpness at the edges. And a bit of minor vignetting. But in practice, I really like the pictures I've taken with this lens. Don't even consider the 21mm over this lens. I sold the 21mm (and wrote a review of it on Amazon).
