Pleasantly Surprised
After reading numerous reviews on the chairs, i was a little concerned with the mixed responses. First let me say the price is the best I found. Second the shipping was amazingly fast, I think 3 or 4 days total. As far as when they arrived the boxes were a little beat up but the chairs were fine, plus the company can't control the shipping once it leaves. The directions were not bad but I am pretty patient and can use a pair of tools. I put them together in about an hour or so and that was while watching tv and sitting on the floor taking my time. The finished product went together fine, I personally had no issues with missing hardware, holes not lined up, and the quality was WELL worth the money. I have only had them outside for a day or two and I personally spent the time to rub them down with teak oil, $10 for a can at Home Depot. We also purchased polyester covers that we will keep on the chairs when not in use. I was a little worried about the stain leaching from the chairs based...

Good Set for the Price
Ordered the whole set, bench, table and chairs. Very attractive and good quality for the price. The only issue I had was that when it got wet the color ran and stained the new brick patio we just had built. Got the stain out with a special cleaner I had to buy for $25 a gallon. Solved the problem with a coat of wipe on poly but it should have come with some kind of sealer in my opinion.

good product
We just bought this bench for our patio. It was very simple to put together (only 4 pieces), the instructions good and design simple. It's sturdy and we love how it looks. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because the measurements in the product description are misleading. The height and length are spot on but the depth is listed at 30. I was presuming that the seat depth was close to that but it's not even 20 inches deep. I was hoping to put thick cushions on the back and have it be much deeper. I'm disapointed with that but love the overall product otherwise. We also couldn't figure out how to attach the back cushions.

Love it!
I was a bit wary of ordering this without a photo -- but I'm so glad I went ahead and took the plunge! It's similar in design to the other Strathmore wood benches on Amazon -- horizontal slats across the back and seat, with wood arms and legs. Assembly was simple and the delivery was fast. We plan on giving the bench a coat of water sealer before sitting it outside in order to protect the color (which is a very pretty brownish/red). The bench is comfortable without a cushion, though you certainly could add one if you wanted. It's a "true" three-seater bench -- even if the three "seats" are big ones, however, I'd be hesitant to put three really large people on it as there is no center support brace on the bottom (I'd put the lightest person in the middle). All in all, this seems to be a great bench and the price is fantastic, especially considering that the shipping is free (or was when I got it). Very nice bench!
This is a very nice bench -- especially for the money! It came very quickly, was easy to assemble, even alone, and seems very sturdy. I plan to put it on my front porch and sit outside as often as possible this spring and summer. I would definitely recommend ordering one!

Nice looking, comfortable...
Chairs seem pretty great, and really more comfortable than I expected. Where the wood is fastened together with bolts, there is a little more movement than I'd like, but as long as the wood itself stands up to the weather, I don't foresee any problems. The price is incredible.(I got a bunch of this Strathwood stuff, and it's all pretty good so far!)
