This sterilizer is simple to use, compact to store, and works beautifully. It is pretty small, but it easily fits 4 bottles or my pump flanges and a few nipples. works perfectly for us.I didnt give it 5 stars because the hinge to the top vent broke shortly after we got it, it is stuck closed. but venting this way is unnecessary to sterilize properly so it still works well. Great sterilizer for the price
I bought this sterilizer not knowing what to expect and I was suprised. It works very well and is quick and easy. With a young newborn that is very important. It holds 4 bottles and the accessories. It only takes 4 mintues in the microwave, 2 minutes to cool, and it's done. Couldn't be easier. I would not waste $$ on more expensive sterilizers when this will do the job.

If you will be pumping at all, this is a must. It is large and will hold everything from a pumping session (plus bottles/nipples/pacifiers). You can use a dishwasher to sterilize, but that seems wasteful to me to run a dishwasher just to sterilize when a 5 minute run in the microwave with only a few ounces of water will do it. No need to get a unit that is more expensive. I'm not sure about this unit fitting larger bottles, you may have to use First Years bottle for it to work. There are cut outs on the bottom of the sterilizer tray for longer bottles, but if you are using a different brand than the cuts may not fit.

The sterilizer is a must have for every mom with babies. Sterilizing is a breeze, it takes 6 minutes and is very easy. Just place all bottles and parts and pour water and microwave for 6 minutes. I don't use the tongs that came with this product, since I leave the items in there until I need to use them. I also sterilize breast pump parts.It holds upto 4 8oz wide neck bottles and parts. We have twins, and before getting this product, we were hand washing bottles ALL the time. This is a huge time saver! There are little holes and places to put all of the pieces, and everything comes out sterilized. My only complaint is that the nipples and collars don't exactly fit in their places. The Best Bottles for Breastfeeding Moms
I bought the original versions of these that weren't BPA free for my first child and they were great! We had no issues with going between breast and bottle because they require the same latching as on a breast. I think this also helped with gas and overfeeding since the baby controls the flow. I have recommended these to all of my pregnant friends and I just purchased the new BPA free set since I am pregnant again. Worth every penny for the comfort of my child! Top to learn more
the only bottle my breast fed baby will take
We tried getting my daughter to take a bottle daily starting at 4 weeks. During a 5 week span, we tried the Adiri, Evenflow, Playtex Ventaire, Nuk, and Sassy Mam without success. The first time I tried the Breastflow, she fussed for a few minutes but then latched on and drank the whole bottle immediately. The outer nipple is much softer than all the other brand nipples and she is able to control the flow of milk. I definitely recommend trying this bottle if you are having trouble getting your breast fed baby to take a bottle. Top to learn more

I've purchased 2 bpa-free starter sets already and have just purchased another! My son had refused to latch-on since he was primarily bottle-fed while we were in the hospital (I was running a fever for a few days and didn't breastfeed consistently). I tried these when we initially came home but he didn't like them (maybe because using these were more work than the Evenflo nipples we got from the lactation consultant) so I stopped trying. Then after he turned a month old, I decided to try them again since my son was still not breastfeeding and I wasn't ready to give up. This time he was more willing to try the nipples and we started using the stage 1 nipples with the 5-oz bottles exclusively. After alot of research I bought this sterilizer at Walmart when I was pregnant with my last 2 children (twins). With all the bottles I have gone through in the last 10 months this sterilizer has been wonderful. I wish I had known about it when I had my other 3 children. I wash the bottles, put them in the sterilizer, add 7 oz of water, microwave for 4 minutes, let them sit for 2 minutes and done. SIMPLE and easy. I have sterilized breast pump parts, pacifiers, bottles, and nipples with ease. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for an easy way to sterilize. I'm a father of a 4 day old and thought we wouldn't be needing a sterilizer for a while since my wife and I planned on breast feeding exclusively in the beginning. Turns out that our baby had borderline Jaundice and it was recommended that he get plenty of fluids so we started supplementing with formula. This is a really handy container. It is round shaped and you need at least 12" space in your microwave for it to fit comfortably. It's also 7" tall so make sure you have clearance. In other words, make sure your microwave is big enough to hold it. You might not use this as much at home as you would traveling. Since most motel rooms have microwaves now, this would be really convenient.It will hold six 4oz bottles or three 11 oz bottles (Avent Airflex bottles, that is and they are not included with unit). It will also hold the Avent Isis Breast Pump and two 4oz bottles, or six 6oz VIA cups and lids, or one VIA Feeding system and up to four 6oz Via Cups and lids. 180ml equals 6 oz, 240ml equals 8oz, 125ml equals 4oz and 260ml equals 9oz.
