Wrangler makes a great pair of somewhat loose fitting rugged, durable jeans for any guy who wants a slightly more relaxed look to their work (or play) jeans. Moreover, these jeans are a good choice for people like me who are slightly overweight. They really do give you extra room in the thigh and the seat; and that's great! The denim is nice and thick; and these jeans are extremely durable. The excellent stitching helps make this possible. In fact, these jeans can last for years at a time without any fraying--even at the bottoms of the legs. They are made from cotton and they are permanent press. However, I would wash these jeans with similar colors to avoid any color dye bleeding onto white garments in the wash or dryer cycle. They say that you should tumble dry these on low; but I use the permanent press settings on my dryer and that seems to work fine without any problems. They come in five colors, too. Great Jeans , Good Value
I used to buy Levi's 550 relaxed fit jeans because they were an American company, but now they are no longer made in America. These Wrangler Rugged Wear jeans are similar fitting and looking as the Levi's 550 jeans and about half the price, and seem to be a better fabric than Levi's.

These Pants are sized correctly - ignore all contrary claims
One reviewer is doing a VERY GREAT disservice to purchasers of this brand of Jeans. I followed his claim that the waist size is 2 inches off and his recommendation that everyone select a size 2 inches larger. I followed his advice, and I now have a pair of jeans that not only do not fit properally, but are in fact 2 1/2 to 3 inches too big!!! Ignore the "buy oversize" claim and buy what your tape measure suggests. Just think, if I loose 10 pounds, my pants will then be 2 entire sizes TOO BIG !

Excellent Jeans
If you are used to Levi's, here's some help in choosing a Wrangler jean that will fit you properly. This jean is the classic "Cowboy Cut" that Wrangler has been making since 1947. Among the Levi's jeans, the fit of this jeans is most similar to that of the Levi's 505, which in turn is similar to the Levi's 501, meaning that it is a fairly standard fit, not too tight nor too baggy. It doesn't have as much orange stitching as a Levi's, the back pockets sit higher, and the rise is a bit longer, giving it a slight dress pants look. Unlike the Levi's 501, it has a zipper fly (like the 505) rather than a button fly. The so-called "rigid denim" looks a lot like the "shrink to fit" rigid denim of the 501 when new and will lose a lot of indigo dye on the first wash, but that's where the resemblance ends. The 501 shrinks about 10%, but the Wrangler Cowboy Cut shrinks less than 3%, because it is Sanforized. So, you should buy your correct size, erring on the side of slightly larger...

Good fit
I purchased the "Cowboy Cut" Wrangler jeans for my husband's birthday. He is particular about the cut of his pants, preferring the regular fit vs. relaxed, so I was a little concerned about what "Cowboy Cut" meant. However, I worried needlessly as these are now his favorite pair of jeans. They fit nicely and look great!

Great jeans, highly recommended
Pants are comfortable, and durable. They are really sharp in black, and can be worn to work without being too obvious that they are jeans. The Wrangler brand is very under-rated. They are just as nice, and hold up better than Levis. I highly recommend them, especially if you are tall like I am, and sick of having to pay $60+ for a pair of jeans.

Great jeans and great price
I bought these for my husband who has only worn Levis 501 for the last 40+ years. He was sceptical but agreed to try a pair since his size is difficult to find in Levis sometimes. He was very pleased. They fit nice, feel soft but still have substantial heft and wear and the color is just right. He reports that they are more comfortable than his Levis and gave a thumbs up to buying more.

This jean is the "slim" version of classic Cowboy Cut jean that Wrangler has been making since 1947. Among the Levi's jeans, the fit of this jeans is most similar to that of the Levi's 512,but it is cut slimmer in the seat. It doesn't have as much orange stitching as a Levi's, the back pockets sit higher. It has a zipper fly. The so-called "rigid denim" looks a lot like the "shrink to fit" rigid denim of the Levi's button fly 501 when new and will lose a lot of indigo dye on the first wash, but that's where the resemblance ends. The 501 shrinks about 10%, but the Wrangler shrinks less than 3%, because it is Sanforized. So, you should buy your correct size, erring on the side of slightly larger if you are right on the border. The the really neat thing about the Wrangler is that they still have copper rivets on the back pockets, something Levi's stop doing generations...

Cowboy Up!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll admit, I'm 28 years old and very skinny so I can wear these. Compared to the baggy hip hop jeans and the relaxed fit jeans that middle-aged pale skinned office workers wear these are the anti-Christ. But dang does my posterior look good! Warning do not attempt to wear with your loose boxers, briefs, form fitting boxer briefs, or a thong is a must.

Wrangler slim fit jeans
I bought these for my husband. He is hard to shop for because of the odd sizes he needs for a good fit. These jeans fit him perfectly and he says they are very comfortable. The jeans shipped fast and arrived in good shape. I would highly recommend these jeans for anyone needing good well made jeans at a decent price.

Fit Great!
I lost a lot of weight recently and used to have to wear a belt with most of my jeans. I started buying new clothes and didn't find what I felt comfortable with in other jeans. I bought these and they fit perfectly. Plus, they look great! I got the brown and are a bit worn looking. They look GREAT.

Nice Jeans But 2 Inches too Small Around the Waist
These jeans fit very small. I bought a 36" waist, but they fit like tight 34" jeans. My other pants from different makers fit well with 36" waists; some of them are even loose. I'll have to lose some weight, which I planned to do anyway, to wear these jeans. I may have to send them back. The carpenter jeans have a much better fit around the waist at the same size, but are still a bit tight.
