Excellent Sound Bar
This sound bar replaced a high quality 5 speaker system with subwoofer. We moved and the new room setup would not easily accommodate the prior system. This is not the prettiest sound bar out there - it is a bit boxy and large. Get past the look and you will have a wonderful sound experience. Very versatile and easy to control with a simple remote. The back of the remote would not stay on (battery compartment cover), but a little tape fixed that problem. Even if we moved and again had a large room, I doubt we would go back to a 5 speaker system. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the cost. Glad it has a connector for the iPhone/iPod as well.

Good option to replace home theater system
If you are looking to reduce the size of your home theater system the ZVOX sound bar represents a good option. We dumped our CD changer (ripping all the CDs to iTunes), receiver, and speakers. All this was replaced with a sleek sound bar and an iPod! Sound reproduction is quite good.The only complaint I have for this system has to do with the remote. As the sound bar is incorporated into home theater systems, it would be optimal to have access to the remote codes so that other remotes (e.g. TV, satellite) could be programmed to control the ZVOX. These codes are not provided with the unit, and ZVOX customer/technical service is completely unresponsive to requests for the codes.
